A new, smart version of Dr Seuss’s classic children’s tale about the infamous Grinch, a grumpy creature who plots to steal Christmas, only to have his heart changed by a young girl's generous holiday spirit. With only his loyal dog for company, the Grinch lives a solitary life inside a cave rigged with inventions and contraptions for his day-to-day needs. The organisers were very welcoming and offered drinks and cake as everyone arrived. The film (Ali & Ava) was different and gave an insight to other peoples lives. This is why I go to Flicks in the Sticks : to see other films rather than Box Office blockbusters and get a glimpse into other cultures around the world.
