Arts Alive present a Summer Festival of stories and songs – featuring artists from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

Sal Tonge is a storyteller and musician who lives in Stiperstones. She celebrates the music of language and loves to run and daydream round the Devil’s Chair.
Sal will tell a tale for winter; a shadowy tale for the dying of the year, sprinkled with the starlight of hope for what could be just around the corner.
Award-winning author and storyteller, Amy Douglas tells traditional tales from Shropshire and Scotland. Fire and frost, fear and friendship, the stories we gather to tell in the dark of the year
Welsh border storytellers, Helen East and Rick Wilson Helen and Rick create a dynamic combination of words, rhythm, movement and music. Traditional tales are told with contemporary relevance and an ear for the needs of a modern audience.
