Untouchable (15)

Directors Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano. French Biography/Comedy/Drama

(Also known as The Intouchables) The second most successful film of all time at France’s box office, Untouchable charts an unlikely friendship between wealthy, middle-aged tetraplegic Philippe and poverty-stricken Driss, that starts when Driss is hired as Philippe’s live-in carer. Expanding each other’s horizons, they show each other that there are different ways to live. It’s a heartening sign that this moving film has done so well in France, where the divide between rich and ghettoised poor in the banlieu is often pronounced.

Starring François Cluzet, Omar Sy and Anne Le Ny

Flicks Advisor (comments from our film promoters)

Don't let your audience be put off by the thought of watching a film with subtitles. This film is a personal favourite of mine but also enjoyed by everyone in the audience. Watch it - you won't forget it!

Great film. Very amusing

An excellent film. Lots of laughter and a few tears as well. Entertaining and endearing showing the best of human nature. Applause at the end is always a very good sign. Highly recommended.
