Really enjoyable film, better than expected. Good mix of comedy balanced against the more serious backdrop of the war. Didn’t expect the twist towards the end. Bill Nighy was superb. Definitely recommend.

On the whole well received but just one or two unhappy with the death. The 'new' people seemed to want to stay and chat but we have to straighten the hall, stack chairs etc, so they joined in.

A good film although not great. The story was a little slow to develop at the beginning but then got going. Our audience were well into the film by the end.
